Finding stock content for your project can sometimes be a daunting task. At GlamourKey, we have implemented several sophisticated ways to conduct a successful search. We have a huge royalty free library of stock photography, stock video, stock audio, and of course our famous pre-keyed content. Our library is built around critical search words that can be used to easily find what you are looking for.

Below is a breakdown of different ways to conduct a search while on the GlamourKey website. We know that time is valuable when faced with a deadline and it is this very reason we want to keep things very simple so users can quickly find the stock footage and photography they need.

Here is how are search engine works on GlamourKey:

Search With Keywords

To begin your search for stock content, simply type your selected keywords into the main search bar. Think of keywords that closely represent the stock footage or photography you are looking for. For example: "Car", "Business", "Phone", or "Ocean". GlamourKey's search box will quickly find all different types of content that closely match to the search words you have chosen.

If you are conducting a search throughout most of the pages on the GlamourKey website you will notice that under the "All files" link Photos, Videos, Audio, and Vector (Pre-Keyed Photos) are all automatically checked and those types of content will be included in your search.

You have the option to click the "All Files" link and deselect any type of stock content that you do not want to include in your search. For example, if you are looking for nature photography you will most likely deselect Videos, Audio, and Vector. This will help narrow the results from your search as the website will now only look through the photography library.

If you are looking through the Photo, Video, Audio, and Pre-Keyed Photos (Vector) pages, the types of files conducted through a search will automatically be narrowed down for you. In this example, the user is on the Photo Page. You can see the drop down menu is narrowed down to search for Photos only, however, you can still check the boxes to the other types of content to include them. If you were to visit the Video Page, only the Videos box would be automatically checked. Once again, you can select other types of content to include them in your search.

Search by Category

Sometimes an artist needs a little inspiration by just being able to simply browse through content. GlamourKey has created a unique Categories list of the stock footage, photography, audio, and pre-keyed (vector) content. This is a great way to be able to quickly browse interesting topics and hopefully give you the inspiration you are searching for. With new stock content being added everyday the categories are always changing.

Please visit this section frequently as it is contantly growing. If you can not find a specific category you are looking for, please contact us and let us know. We want to hear comments back from our users so we can help them with obtain the stock content they require.

Search by Photographers

If you like a specific type of style that a photographer or cinematographer shoots, then perhaps a great way to search for your stock content is to use the Photographers link. Inside this section you will be able to find each photographer or cinematographer's portfolio. All stock libraries can be found by either the name of the photographer or their company's name.

Keep in mind that GlamourKey stays in touch with all photographers and cinematographers. If you come across a specific style you love from their work, however, it is not exactly what you need for your project - let us know! We will contact them and have something custom created for you. At GlamourKey it is all about having total creative options!

Advanced Search

Under our Advanced search link you will find another way to help narrow down a search. If you are looking for stock content that is within a certain color profile, select that color from the color picker, then click the search link. This can be a very useful way to help narrow a search by simply using colors.

Advanced Search Continued

After selecting the color picker, you can continue to narrow down your search by using the "Search" box to the left. The website will use the color you assigned along with the keywords to help find the specific content you are looking for. You can even go a step further and use the "Category" drop down menu to narrow your search further.

If you know the stock content's Item ID number, you can enter it here.

View Search Results As: All, Featured, or Free

GlamourKey has several ways to view the results that appear on the page after you have conducted a search.

• When "All" is selected, everything will show on the page.
• When "Featured" is selected, only shots that were considered featured by GlamourKey will appear. Some stock footage and stock photography in our library really stands out so we will mark it as featured.
• When "Free" is selected, only content that has been deemed free will appear on the page.

View Search Results in Other Ways

With our sorting box, you can pick several other ways to view the results from your search.

• "Most Downloaded" will showcase your search results starting with stock content that has been most downloaded to the least downloaded.
• "Most Popular" will feature stock content that has been viewed the most.
• When "Date" is selected, the content from your search result will be posted from the most current to the least current.
• "Title" will showcase your search result in an alphabetical order.
• Users have access to rate content. When "Top Rated" is selected, your search result will be posted from the highest rated to the lowest rated.
• The "Random" option will randomize your search results on the page.

Number of Results Per Page

GlamourKey has programed the website to post 50 pieces of content at a time, however, this can be controlled by the "Number of Results" drop down menu. You have the ability to select 10, 20, 30, 50, and 100 at a time. This can be very useful if you have a slow internet connection or if you simply do not want to feel overwhelmed by seeing several pieces of stock content at one time.
